Green arrow — means media is uploaded to web
Downwards Green arrow — means media has been downloaded to the device
Yellow arrow — means media is in queue for upload
Globe — means media privacy is set to Public
Lock — means media privacy is set to Private
PC — means the media is was uploaded from PC to web
Use your phone camera to capture media
These, as well as any media already on your phone will automatically be added to the PixSense Gallery and uploaded to the PixSense website
Launch PixSense on your phone. Navigate to My Media. On the media you wish to upload, select Options > Upload. A small yellow arrow will appear on the media indicating that they are in queue for upload. Once the upload is complete, the arrow will turn green. Photos and videos that have not been marked for upload will not have any icons next to them.
Launch PixSense. Navigate to My Media. PixSense automatically categorizes your media by date. Select Options > View by Date. Highlight the collection you wish to upload and select Options > Upload. This action queues all media in that collection for upload.
Navigate to My Media. Select media you wish to share
Select Options > Share By > Email
Select Options > Add contact. Select the people from your phones native address book with whom you wish to share. You could also directly enter the recipient's email address
Select Options > Send
Your friends will receive an email message with your shared media.
Navigate to My Media. Select media you wish to share
Select Options > Share By > SMS
Select Options > Add contact. Select the people from your phones native address book with whom you wish to share. You could also directly enter the recipient's phone number
Select Options > Send
Your friends will receive an SMS with your shared media.
Select the media you wish to change privacy settings for
Select Options > Make Public. A prompt will display telling that the selected photo/video will be reviewed first and then made public. Conversely, select Make Private to remove a photo/video from public viewing
Friend's media displays the media shared with you by other PixSense users. When a friend, who is also registered as a PixSense user, shares media with you by email, you can have the media added to your friend's media tab by clicking on the "Add to friend's collection" link on the left hand side of the media view. Similarly, whenever such a friend shares media by SMS to your phone number, the PixSense application does a number match with your credentials and adds it automatically to your account. You can comment on the shared media. You can also block a user from sharing media. Select the media collection of the user you wish to block. Select Options > Block this user
From the listing, select the web sites to which you want to publish media to. (You might need to configure the sites from the My Sites menu to publish your media)
To publish your photos/ videos to third party sites, you need to first configure them,
Launch PixSense.
Navigate to My Sites
From the listing, select a site to configure and select Options > Configure. Certain sites require you to configure them from your online account; otherwise, enter your account credentials. Once a site is successful configured, a green check will appear next to it
If the media is uploaded to your PixSense account on the web, you will be prompted if you wish to delete them from your phone only (Mobile only) or from your phone and your online account (Mobile and web).
From here, you can view data (in kilo bytes) uploaded/ downloaded by the mobile application since a certain date. (Note: this does not include data when viewing the public WAP gallery)
In the PixSense mobile application, navigate to Settings.
Connection:
Access Point: Specifies the GPRS access point to connect to the Internet
Application:
PixSense Service
Enabled: PixSense mobile application is allowed to establish a data connection
Disable: PixSense mobile application is NOT allowed to establish a data connection
New Media Uploading
Automatically: Media is automatically uploaded to your secure online personal web space
Manually: Media is not automatically uploaded to your secure online personal web space. You can upload media manually from the My Media gallery
Ask me: When you take a media, PixSense will prompt you to select if you wish to upload it to your secure online personal web space
My Account
To change account information you need to login from web. However, you may change your password from your device. Username: Displays your username
Change Password: Allows you to change your PixSense service password. To change your password, you need to verify your current password, select a valid new password and confirm your new password
Sync Media: Allows you to synchronize media on the mobile application with your secure online personal web space
